TEAM USA IS HEADING TO SACRAMENTO
May 13 - 17, 2020
Softball is back in the Olympics for 2020 and Team USA is going for the Gold!
As part of the STAND BESIDE HER TOUR, Team USA will be traveling to Sacramento in May of 2020. The tour stop will include several events spanning the week including a Team USA Training Camp, two Team USA Player Clinics, a VIP Meet & Greet Dinner, and the main event, an exhibition double header game at Sutter Health Park (formerly Raley Field) against local standout athletes and alumni. USA Softball of Sacramento is extremely proud to be selected as an extended tour-stop for Team USA and we credit our amazing softball community in the Greater Sacramento area.
Hosted by USA Softball of Sacramento, the Team USA Experience week will be a homecoming for two members of the National Team, Ali Aguilar and Ally Carda that grew up in the Sacramento area. Additionally, other members of Team USA from neighboring cities in Northern California include: Monica Abbott (Salinas), Bubba Nickles (Merced), Val Arioto (Pleasanton), Keilani Ricketts (San Jose).
The STAND BESIDE HER TOUR is a series of competitions and training opportunities for the 2020 USA Softball Women's National Team as they prepare for the 2020 Olympics Games in Tokyo, Japan.
The Stand Beside Her Tour message encourages fans everywhere to stand united in their support of Team USA in their journey to the Olympic Games.
