USA Softball of Sacramento Announces Local Team to play against Team USA
SACRAMENTO — USA Softball of Sacramento is proud to announce the local team that will compete against the 2020 United States Olympic Team during the doubleheader exhibition on May 17, 2020 at Sutter Health Park. The local team will be called the Sactown Sluggers, a name that was voted on by fans through social media. The 20-person roster will be led by co-head coaches Lyndsey Klein and Darin Delgado.

The majority of players on the team are from the USA Softball of Sacramento grassroots program and played recreational and travel ball in the area. Full athlete bios will be released on social media in the weeks leading up to the game. Roster may be modified slightly if player’s individual teams qualify for post-season play. Hosted by USA Softball of Sacramento, tickets for the game are available and can be purchased by visiting www.teamusaexperience.com. Ticket prices start at $22 for standard seating, with reserved and premium seating available at $30 and $40. Group tickets and team fundraisers are also available.
